Secretary Appointment

Following the resignation of Tom Gall as a Trustee and as Secretary of the Gentoo foundation, the remaining trustees advertised both positions and have filled the Secretary Vacancy by appointing Matthew Summers to the office of Secretary.

On IRC Matthew is known as quantumsummers. He is no stranger to Gentoo, having used it in the course of his own business and sponsored a number of interns to work on Gentoo documentation over the summer.

Matthew is not yet a Gentoo Developer but to facilitate him carrying out his duties as Secretary he has begun the process of becoming a staff member of Gentoo.

We are pleased to welcome Matthew to both the Gentoo and the Gentoo Foundation Inc teams.
