The X11 team manages the X implementations and drivers and base-level accessories in Portage. This includes X.Org, XFree86, drivers and kernel modules such as ati-drivers, nvidia-kernel, nvidia-glx and xfree-drm as well as other core libraries and accessories.
The team aims to support X implementations and driver or accessory add-ons to the core. Increasing the modularity of monolithic builds and making configuration automatic or easier are part of its current work.
