Xorg-server 1.10 Upgrade Guide
1.
Feature changes
-
Xorg no longer does autodetect devices using xf86-input-keyboard
and xf86-input-mouse. If you want your input devices hotplugged,
please migrate your settings to the xf86-input-evdev driver.
2.
Migrating from xorg-server 1.9
The configuration of xorg-server-1.9 is still valid for 1.10, and
does not require any modifications to work with the new version.
3.
Migrating from older xorg-server
Remember to read respective older guides in between this version and older
version you are migrating from. E.g.: If you're upgrading from
xorg-server-1.7, then you should read the xorg-server-1.8 and
xorg-server-1.9 migration guides first.
Links to all guides are availible on our
