Gentoo/OpenBSD Gentoo/OpenBSD (or Gentoo/OBSD, or G/OBSD) is an effort to create a complete OpenBSD-based Gentoo system, sharing the complete administration facilities of Gentoo with the reliability of the OpenBSD kernel and userland. Gentoo/OpenBSD stages - Providing stages for installation To be a complete Gentoo system, Gentoo/OpenBSD must be installed with stages which carry the minimum software needed to run the system.
Gentoo/OpenBSD LiveCD - Providing a LiveCD for installation A LiveCD is needed to untar stage3 so it has to provide some basic tools.
