Johdanto

Tervetuloa Gentoon dokumentaatiosivuille. Täältä löydät nopean silmäyksen kaikkeen ohjeistukseen mitä tarjoamme. Suurin osa dokumenteista on lisensoitu lisenssillä Creative Commons - Attribution / Share Alike (suom. Creative Commons - Nimi mainittava - Sama lisenssi). Kaikki dokumentit on saatavilla myös tulostettavassa muodossa. Tämän saa esille lisäämällä ?style=printable verkko-osoitteeseen, tai painamalla dokumenttien oikeassa yläkulmassa olevaa ”Tulostettava muoto”-linkkiä.

Jos dokumenteista löytyy virheitä tai haluat ehdottaa jotain, käytä Vianseurantajärjestelmää ja täytä englanniksi vikailmoitus, joka on liitetty kohteeseen ”Docs-developer” tai ”Docs-user”. Nämä viat hoitaa Gentoo Documentation Project. Suomennosvirheistä voi ilmoittaa joko suoraan dokumentin vastuulliselle kääntäjälle (meilitse, irkitse…) tai vianseurantajärjestelmään ja asettaa vian komponentiksi Translated Documentationin ja URLiksi viallisen sivun osoitteen.

Dokumenttikokoelmat

Dokumentaatio on jaoteltu hierarkisiin luokkiin. Yleiskatsaus kaikista saatavilla olevista dokumenteista on dokumenttiluettelosivulla, joka on saatavinna myös pitkänä dokumenttiluettelona. Huomaa, että listauksissa ovat mukana myös suomentamattomat dokumentit, ne on linkitetty alkukielisiin versioihin ja tunnistaa helposti alkukielisestä nimestä ja kuvauksesta.
